Cambridge Day in Verona
Next Monday 13th Februray, Cambridge is holding a Cambridge Day near Verona.
This is a good opportunity for English Teachers, in particular if they are not native English speakers, to hear some good English, to use English outside the classroom, and to find about new developments in the world of language teaching.
Alright, it is also about trying to increase sales of new teaching material, I admit, but who can blame them. Having said that, buying stuff is not compulsory -although you might be tempted to get your hands on some new textbook or audiovisual material at a later stage-, registration is free of charge and the talks and workshops are generally engaging, with very few exceptions. Primary and Secondary School teachers are the ones who can make the most of this type of event, since the organisers put the whole thing together with these categories in mind. But, in our opinion, also Freelance Language Consultants such as ourselves, in-company trainers, ESP teachers and anyone with an interest in the teaching of English can benefit from such a "day out". Even translators and interpreters can benefit: any occasion is a good occasion to get "quality exposure" to the languages you work with!
Of course, Ram Consulenze Linguistiche will be there.
